With winter quickly approaching I’ve been thinking of some fun activities I want to do with my toddler over the next couple of months. It’s so easy to go stir-crazy, especially as a stay-at-home mom and in the colder winter months.
Since we live in Nashville where it rarely snows, I tried to come up with a list that doesn’t involve snow and has both indoor and outdoor activities. Hopefully helpful for those momma’s who live both in warmer climates and colder ones. I’m going to use it as a “bucket list” to see how many we can check off before the end of winter. I made these 25 winter activities into a printable so that you can do the same!

Hi Caitlin! Love this list! I would include buy the fun Holiday 3D glasses! My kids really, really love to look at the lights in the house and outside the house with these! We got ours at Hobby Lobby… I think they are snowflakes and stars. But you can find some really cool ones like Santa’s and Reindeer, etc. In years past we’ve found them at Lowes but, for whatever reason not this year. They are fun! And definitely available on amazon lol I looked for my kids! ::))

Hi Catlin! I love family traditions this time of year. I, too, have a toddler (and a 5 year old), and these are all such great ideas. Great minds must think alike, too, because we’ve already done many of the same things. I like the binocular idea, and the one about going to a park and taking soup and hot drinks. My kids LIVE to be outside, rain, cold, or shine, so they’d love this! Merry Christmas!

This is a great list! Sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to give them the perfect experience. These ideas definitely help take the stress out of the planning.
