In such cases, it’s essential to have a child-carrier, as my husband carried her most of the way.
As you descend closer to the falls, prepare to get wet. A cool mist emanates from the base of the falls, and if you venture too near, you’ll get soaked. A surefire route is to turn onto Power House Rd. from Rock Island Rd., following it until you reach the dead end, which is approximately 2 miles.
At the end of Power House Rd., you’ll find a small parking lot where you can leave your vehicle. To make the most of your visit and ensure a hassle-free experience, I advise arriving early to beat the crowds and secure a parking spot.

From the parking lot you can walk to the left where is there a set of stairs that lead you right down to the falls. If you walk towards the right there is a trail head where you can hike along the falls.
